Using zipper... cutting the material off of it and using just the metal zipper you outline your project.. such as an eagle.. in all the feathers, etc.
Standing the zipper upright and glueing it as an outline for the full project..each feather, eyes etc.. using straight pins to hold the zipper until the glue dries.. then taking the pins out the zipper remains intack..once the full project is outlined you then spread glue as in each feather and you sprinkle the sand into each outlined feather etc.. changing colors to create a work of art.. you then peel off the finished project and glue it on a decent backgroud and frame.. You begin this with an outline and cover that outline with wax paper.. you then pin the zipper to the wax paper..It is easy to tear away the wax paper after the project dries..
