PRAF is a white sculpture and Raku clay body with 40% fine grog (up to 35 Mesh). Formulated for artistic ceramics, PRAF is ideal for sculpture, murals and Raku pieces.

The high content of grog confers a beautiful textured surface and an excellent behavior during drying and firing. Its particular ivory color after firing is unique and provides an excellent ware for glazes and coloring oxides, which develop bright and intense tones. It is also known as “Rafael” clay, and it is very popular because of its excellent behavior for Raku.

PRAF is available in extruded body (moist form), in a 27.6 lb. package.
