Important advice
The vividness of the spots of LUNA clay is caused by natural minerals that may include traces of other minerals that can rehydrate after firing at a low temperature and cause flaking. To avoid it, it is recommended to fire the biscuit at a higher temperature (1050-1080ºC / Cone 04) and increase the soak time. If you work directly in single firing, the problem does not arise.

(*) Firing range recommended for the clay to develop its best performance, both in terms of technical and safety characteristics, under conventional firing conditions. The colour samples may show temperatures outside the recommended range to provide a broader view, but these are pieces fired under controlled conditions. Cone equivalence according to Orton table for self-supporting cones, regular-SSB and 150ºC/hr heating rate.
