Nautical Candle Trio

Nautical Candle Trio

By Marisa Pawelko

Summary:

Decorate the beach house or bring the beach to your house with this elegant candle trio inspired by the sea! Sandtastik’s Classic Sand Sample Pack gives you a wide array of options for beautiful aquatic color schemes! Perfect for lighting up your next seaside soiree!

What’s Needed:

Gather up your supplies as shown.

Begin by applying a layer of tacky glue to a portion of the bottom part of the glass pillar candle.

Spread the glue evenly with a paint brush then artfully adhere your small shells.

Next fill in the spaces in between with Sandtastik’s Colored-ICE, and set the piece aside to dry completely.

Once dry, rotate the piece slightly and apply tacky glue to the adjacent portion of the candle.

Repeat the previous steps by adding the shells and Colored-ICE.

Continue this process until you have fully covered the lower portion of all three pillar candles. Next you are ready to begin embellishing the top portion of the candles.   Select an array of pouches of colored sand from the Classic Sand Sample Pack.

Coat the top portion of the candle with tacky glue.

Sprinkle the sand onto the candle in a soft blending manner, and set aside to dry. Repeat this process until you’ve embellished all three candles.

Prepare your tray by pouring a layer of Colored-ICE into the tray and artfully arranging your shells.

Finally add your finished candles to the tray and proudly display them in your home or patio!
