SIO-2® Flower Bowl
Designed by Amy Koranek
What’s Needed:
- SIO-2 ColorPlus Natural Air Dry Cly (Royal Blue, Brilliant Yellow, Apple Red)
- 3 Flower shaped cookie cutters - one large, one slightly smaller, and a very small one for the detail in the center
- Craft Knife
- Roller
- Toothpick, or skewer, or pointed tool
Roll Royal Blue clay out to about 1/4” thick. Cut out two large flower shapes. Using a smaller flower shaped cutter, cut the middle out of one of the large flowers. Set the middle of the flower aside, we won’t need it.
Carefully lay the flower with the cut out middle on top of the other large flower to form a rim around the outside edge. Smooth the outside so that the edges of the two flowers blend together.
Score lines across the flower so that it is divided into petals.
Roll Brilliant Yellow out into a thin sheet. Cut out a little bitty flower and place it in the center of the bowl.
Score lines across the little yellow flower too.
Put a little red dot in the middle of the yellow flower. Allow your little dish to dry completely before filling with goodies.
