Aquarium Lesson Plan

 

A great project for at home or in the classroom.

CLAY SETS:
EZ Shape® Primary Color Set

ADDITIONAL SUPPLIES:
Disposable Plastic Knife
Toothpicks
Scissors
Styrofoam Plate
Hole Punch
String



Getting Started:

Condition clay by kneading in your hands until warm and pliable.

 

 AquariumStep 1

Cut rim off Styrofoam plate so that just the flat center portion remains. Recycle the rim for a different project.

 

 

 

AquariumStep 2

Mix Blue and White EZ Shape® Modeling clay together to obtain the desired shade of light blue.

 

 

 

Aquarium Step 3
Spread the light blue clay as thin as possible over the plate. Make sure the entire front of the plate is covered.

 

 

 

 

Aquarium Step 4
Use other EZ Shape colors to add details – gravel, fish, bubbles, seaweed, etc.

 

 

 

 

Aquarium Step 5
Punch a hole in the top and hang with string.
