Dino the Dizzy Dinosaur

 

Kids will love this fun and easy to make dinosaur figure

CLAY SETS:
EZ Shape® Primary Color Set

ADDITIONAL SUPPLIES:
Disposable Plastic Knife
Toothpicks


 

Getting Started:

Condition clay by kneading in your hands until warm and pliable.

 

 Step 1 Legs and Body

Roll four 3/4" balls of Blue into cone shapes and place wider end at bottom.

 

 

 

 

Step 2 Legs and Body

Roll a 1 ½” ball of Blue and shape into egg shape.

 

 

 

Step 1 Head, Neck, and Tail
Roll two ¾” balls of Blue into a cone shapes. For the neck, attach wider end to the front of the body and blend together. Repeat for the tail and the back of the body.

 

 

 

 

Step 2 Head, Neck, and Tail
Roll a ¾” ball of Blue for the head into a pear shape. Attach to the end of the neck. (toothpicks can be used for stability).

 

 

 

 

Eyes and Spots
Place two ¼’ balls of White at the top of the head for the eyes. Press tiny balls of Black for his pupils. Roll a ¼” ball of Blue to about ¾” long and flatten. Press around the back of the eyes for the eyelids. Draw a smile with a toothpick. Flatten various sizes of small Red balls of clay and press to the body for the spots. For the toes, roll 12 balls of Yellow clay approximately 1/8” each and press to the bottom of each foot for toes.
