Illuminated Memories

Nothing is more a part of our celebrations than candles – that special kind of light we bring to our memory making events. Beeswax is the cleanest burning of waxes and adds a special naturally home like scent. Its easy to work with and readily available. For this batch of special candles we pressed flowers – like the ones we have chosen for the special occasion. We have used the simple Activa Flower Press to flatten and preserve then and applied them to the hand rolled pillars.
Materials Needed
• Sheet beeswax – depending on size of finished candle at least 8” X 8” Larger sheets or more than one will be needed for larger candles.
• Braided Wick
• Pressed Flowers

Floating Flowers- Candle Memories

The magic of candlelight floating serenely – on a bed of scented sand, water or even in the punch bowl. A perfect party statement or most romantic accent. Once you have made these you’ll wonder why you ever entertained without them!

Materials:

• Beeswax – chose natural for a warm honey scented glow or white.
• Wicking
• Instamold
• Firmly Formed Flower
